Much of Tannia’s work is inspired by the world of fashion and nude photography; finding to balance the rawness and power of the female body with a sophisticated and aesthetic portrayal.

"Over the years I have focused on my art and driven my passion by constantly experimenting with mediums such as acrylics, inks and resin in my figurative and abstract work to find “my style”. I realised it is not so much about my style but rather how much I have learnt and how my art has evolved"

In addition to her figurative work Tannia's diverse creativity and ability to experiment with many mediums has lead her on an abstract journey, as she began to experiment with plaster, medium that was familiar to her as her father was a plasterer. Taking inspiration from nature, architecture and interior design, her latest abstract series EVOLUTION is a turning point in her art career. Reflecting on natural elements from land and sea to create a refined and organic statement pieces of art. It is a series of work capturing texture, form, shapes, patterns, interaction, depth and lighting.

Tannia has her family and friends to thank, insisting she pursue her art and take it to the next level.  “I have so much to learn and be inspired by and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me…so the best way to predict my future is to create it!”
